Game Description: A test of how you can keep a straight face! All players must begin by knowing that the repoint of the game is to keep their lips covering their teeth the whole time and never letting their teeth be seen or they are out! And, no laughing!
Grouping | Whole class |
Duration | 5-7 minutes |
# of Moderators | 1 (IA or Instructor) |
Instructions
- Get in a circle and have everyone cover their teeth with their lips and hold up their arms like a dinosaur.
- Have the moderator choose the first person to go. That person must say “pterodactyl” to the person next to them without showing their teeth (smiling or laughing) or putting their arms down - that’s how you get ‘out’!
- Tip: The moderator can help keep track of who becomes ‘out’!
- That next person can either pass it on to the next person by repeating step 2, or can turn around and caw at the original person. If they caw to the original person, it is then that original player’s turn again.
- Repeat step 2-3 until everyone but one person is ‘out’ - then that person wins!
