Instructions

Playing in Teams:
  1. Have the moderator share a category and a letter to the full group. This site can help you generate ideas for categories!
  1. Give scholars a few minutes in breakout rooms to write down as many words as they can that fit the category and start with the given letter.
  1. Once the rooms are closed, give each team a chance to share their list of words. If any of the words are also on another team’s list, that word should be crossed out from both lists!
  1. After all teams have shared, each group should count the remaining words on their list. Whoever has the most words left wins!

Playing Individually:
  1. Head to really.boring.website and create a game room for scholars to join (max 24 players).
  1. Scholars will be given a letter and a list of categories. For each category, they must think of a word that starts with the given letter.
  1. After everyone has submitted their words, each category is reviewed one at a time.
    1. The word that everyone submitted for that category is displayed.
    2. Scholars can vote for whether each word fits the category or not; if more people vote no, then it is not counted for a point.
    3. If the word fits the category and was unique (aka, only one person submitted that word), then that player gets a point!
  1. The person with the most points wins!
